Aims & Objectives
The Scottish Government ‘Getting it Right for Every Child’ approach places responsibility on local agencies to work together to effectively safeguard children and young people and meet their needs.
Given the recent change in Government, Capita’s 2nd National Improving Children’s Services in Scotland Conference comes at a crucial time and provides the opportunity to address the new priorities and challenges ahead. This interactive forum brings together leading experts and practitioners to identify and put in place revised strategies to strengthen children’s services and improve outcomes for all children and young people.
This event focuses on the key issues including:
• The importance of early intervention
• Practical examples on successful commissioning strategies
• Safeguarding and information sharing challenges
• How to increase parental engagement through learning
• Promoting healthy lifestyles for children through joined-up working with health services
Attend this conference to hear from the Scottish Minister for Children and get first hand policy guidance on how children’s services are being driven forward in Scotland. Ensure your strategies are streamlined to meet these priorities and take away successful practice to implement within your own organisation.
