Aims & Objectives
Capita’s 3rd National Early Years Foundation Stage Conference brings together key organisations and expert practitioners to provide policy updates and examine the progress of EYFS two years on. The Coalition Government's pledge to take Sure Start back to its original purpose of early intervention and increase its focus on the neediest families highlights the drive towards narrowing the opportunity gap during early years.
This timely conference focuses on how the quality of EYFS can continually be improved to ensure that children are given the best chance to progress. Expert speakers will examine the lessons learnt during the first two years of delivery of EYFS and assess current opportunities and challenges, including:
• Dealing with changes in Government policy and cuts in funding
• Adopting a multi-agency approach to allow for early intervention and improved outcomes
• Developing a first class early years workforce to enhance quality of delivery
• Effectively engaging children and parents in EYFS with particular emphasis on the role of fathers
Take the opportunity to hear valuable guidance on raising the standards of EYFS provision for all children. Benefit from exchanging new ideas with your peers and be inspired by the success of national best practice to improve your own service provision.
